SEO / Google Ads Specialist

Founded in 2005, Shabby Fabrics has become a leader in the quilting industry internationally through innovative design, original art, and cutting-edge technology. As we continue our impressive growth trend, we are seeking a full-time SEO/Google Ads Specialist to join our team.
Job Summary
This is a new position and a great opportunity to drive continued success and customer acquisition in a growing company through dynamite SEO and Google Ads. The ideal candidate is tenacious and uses both creativity and analytics to execute marketing strategies.
Duties / Responsibilities
- Build and implement strategies to grow our following and drive sales across multiple platforms
- Combine your creativity with our brand values to create marketing plans that will generate engagement and drive traffic to our website
- Use Google Analytics and other tools to track, analyze, and report metrics regarding our social media presence and growth
- Lead the optimization of our SEO and stay current with best practices
- Create and manage digital ad campaigns, including Google shopping ads
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
- 3+ years’ experience in a marketing management role
- Proven track record of using digital marketing to grow sales
- An understanding of SEO, Google Analytics, targeted marketing campaigns, and keyword research
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to change directions quickly
- Must be a self-starter / motivated with minimal supervision
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and a working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Cloud
- Special considerations will be given to applicants with sewing or quilting experience
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, sit and/or walk for prolonged periods of time
- Must be able to distinguish between colors
