Summary:
Easy-to-follow instructions and matching fabrics make this project approachable, especially for beginners. The color palette, featuring vibrant blues and yellows, receives high marks for its seasonal appeal and ability to brighten up a dining table. While the included self-binding method is appreciated by some for its simplicity and the clever mitered corners, others prefer using their own batting and opting for traditional binding, noting that a bit more blue backing fabric would make that option easier. Finishing all four pieces in an afternoon is doable, and the overall fabric quality stands out. Even those who haven’t started yet are enthusiastic about the look and feel of the materials.

Made all 4 in one afternoon. The dark blue is perfect with the yellow and blue lemon print. A great summer look for the dining table.

I chose to use batting in my placemats and was able to bind them traditionally. Glad that I did it that way and quilted them, they look great. It might be helpful to others to include a bit more of the blue backing --like 1 and 1/4 yards in the kit so that you can traditionally bind them!!

Great colors and nice looking for the table Love the video and clever mitered corners. Would consider batting just to thickness but not necessary.
