Not a fan of self binding and not using batting

I chose to use batting in my placemats and was able to bind them traditionally. Glad that I did it that way and quilted them, they look great. It might be helpful to others to include a bit more of the blue backing --like 1 and 1/4 yards in the kit so that you can traditionally bind them!!
