This 6.5" x 24.5" ruler from Creative Grids is a wonderful tool for fussy cutting, cutting half-square triangles, as well as squaring up flying geese units! This ruler also features the Turn-A-Round feature – designated by the easy to read numbers, and the 1/2" grip sides.  This ruler has gripper dots and gripper edges to help hold the ruler in place while cutting.

Creative Grid tools and rulers make measuring fun!

The 6.5 x 24.5" helps me get started when I unfold my fabric and start cutting. CG rulers are higher priced than other rulers, but they take away the chore of measuring for me and I look forward to it every time. Their grippy bottoms, added 1/4" seams, and unique tricks of the trade to each ruler make measuring flawless and usually worry free. The Shabby Fabric instructional videos with Jen are the perfect addition for sorting out forgotten technique. Thank you Shabby Fabrics!

Creative Grids are the kind of ruler I really like to use because they are made with areas on the back that keep them from slipping while cutting fabric. I’ve used other brands but I always prefer Creative Grids. They are also accurate and sturdy.
