The Story Behind Sweetwater
Sweetwater's creative history reaches back decades.
The family's parent company, Farmyard Creations, began in 1985 as a quilt company producing quilt patterns and designing fabrics for quilt shops in the United States, Canada and overseas.
In 2001, Sweetwater was born as the family expanded its fabric-design aesthetic into paper products. Then, in 2008, Sweetwater returned to its textile roots and began designing fabric for Moda Fabrics.
Its first Moda fabric collection was Authentic.
Since then, Sweetwater has created more than 50 fabric collections for Moda, establishing a substantial body of work within the quilting industry.
