How to Make a Fabric Face Mask Fast & Easy

Jen shares how to make a face mask and tips for making it more effective with non-woven interfacing. She also shows how to add elastic, and what to use if you can't find elastic or don't have it.

TO MAKE A MASK:

- (2) 6" x 9" rectangles from fabric of your choice

- (1) 6" x 9" rectangle from non-woven interfacing (optional)

- (2) strips of 1/4" elastic (1/8" will work) cut to approximately 6½" (adjust length for comfort)

 

- All Face Mask Supplies

- Elastic

- Non-Woven Fusible Interfacing

- Neutral Piecing Thread Set

- All Fabrics

- Clover Point 2 Point Turner

- Panasonic 360° Freestyle Cordless Iron

We're sewing on a BERNINA 770 QE. Any machine will work for this project.
