Confusing at first but very nice design

This pattern was confusing to me as the original instructions were quilt as you go. Thankfully, additional instructions were included for traditional piecing. I just finished the quilt top and really like the design.

Fun quilt - but pay attention!

The pattern was easy to follow, but I did find a few discrepancies. The pattern listed the need for 35 HSTs, but really it needs 36. My quilt kit also came with more fabric types than were listed in the cutting instructions, but the illustration had them labelled correctly, so this wasn't too hard to fix. It really was a fun quilt, though, and those differences weren't too hard to identify and fix.
