Use fusible grid

Very scrap friendly, you can use not too christmassy greens. I rather than stitch the itty bitty 2 in squares I cut it to 1 7/8 in and used fusible grid. I'm in the shabby fabric Facebook group with pics. I would never have thought of using grid without going to the quilting retreat.
