Great tote pattern, even for a beginner quilter

I made a tote bag with scraps cut from worn-out jeans and it's perfect for grocery shopping! I love it. I put paper grocery bags inside to catch any leaks. (Used a heavy duty sewing machine for all the denim.) I've sewn before but am a beginner quilter and this pattern made sense. Only feedback: pattern wasn't clear to me which side of the triangle patterns should be "up" before cutting excess. This made one side seam having rhombuses instead of triangles when sewn together. Still love it!
