Cozy Wonderland Christmas Fabric by Fancy That Design House

Cozy Wonderland by Fancy That Design House

Think wool sweaters, knit stockings, mugs of hot chocolate, falling snowflakes, evergreen trees, colorful vintage ornaments, and Santa himself.

That's the feeling behind Cozy Wonderland, designed by Stephanie Sliwinski of Fancy That Design House for Moda Fabrics.

Rather than relying only on traditional red and green, Cozy Wonderland brings cooler teal and icy tones into its Christmas palette alongside burgundy, pine, cream, and other festive colors.

The result feels nostalgic, playful, wintry, and wonderfully cozy.

A Cozy Christmas in Fabric

Cozy Wonderland celebrates the little things that make Christmas feel like Christmas.

Evergreen trees bring the outdoors in.

Snowflakes capture winter weather.

Santa adds an unmistakable touch of Christmas nostalgia.

Warm sweaters, stockings, mugs, ornaments, and other seasonal details evoke quiet evenings at home and familiar holiday traditions.

Together, these motifs make Cozy Wonderland a natural choice for Christmas quilts, pillows, table décor, stockings, handmade gifts, and other seasonal sewing.

Inspired by Vintage Christmas Ornaments

Color is an important part of the Cozy Wonderland story.

Stephanie Sliwinski drew inspiration from her own collection of vintage Christmas ornaments, giving the collection colorful pops that move beyond a strictly traditional holiday palette.

Teal and Icicle introduce cool winter color.

Pine provides deep evergreen.

Burgundy brings rich Christmas warmth.

Creamy and lighter tones keep the collection from becoming too dark.

That balance gives Cozy Wonderland a nostalgic Christmas personality while still feeling fresh enough for contemporary holiday projects.

Santa Claus and Christmas Nostalgia

Few motifs say Christmas as clearly as Santa.

Cozy Wonderland incorporates the jolly guy himself alongside other seasonal imagery, giving the collection an unmistakable Christmas identity.

Santa fabrics can become focal points in quilts, pillows, stockings, wall hangings, and handmade gifts.

Snowflakes and Winter Sewing

Snowflakes give Cozy Wonderland a second personality beyond Christmas Day.

They reinforce the wintry atmosphere of the collection and make these fabrics useful for projects that can remain on display throughout the colder months.

Snowflake prints work particularly well in patchwork because their repeating motifs can function as coordinates beside busier Christmas designs.

Mix them with evergreen, Santa, ornament, or other holiday prints to build layers of seasonal detail.

Evergreen Trees and the Colors of Christmas

Evergreen imagery gives Cozy Wonderland another timeless Christmas motif.

Deep Pine works beautifully beside Teal, Icicle, Burgundy, and lighter neutrals, creating contrast without limiting the collection to conventional bright red and green.

Tree and branch motifs are useful in quilts because they can read as both Christmas and winter.

That makes them especially versatile for projects designed to be enjoyed beyond the holiday itself.

The Cozy Wonderland Panel

One of the original highlights of Cozy Wonderland is its coordinating 24" x 44" panel, designed with six seasonal graphics.

Panels provide a different way to sew with a collection because larger artwork can remain intact rather than being cut into small patchwork pieces.

The Cozy Wonderland panel can inspire pillows, quilts, placemats, table runners, and other holiday projects.

Cozy Wonderland Fat Quarters

A Cozy Wonderland Fat Quarter Bundle + Panel brings together prints from across the collection while also including the coordinating panel.

Fat Quarters give quilters flexibility because the larger cut can be subdivided in many different ways for blocks, borders, appliqué, patchwork, bags, and other projects.

If you're looking for a project designed around this popular format, browse Fat Quarter Quilt Patterns.

Make a Christmas Quilt with Cozy Wonderland

Cozy Wonderland is especially well suited to Christmas quilts that mix recognizable seasonal motifs with coordinating prints.

Use larger pieces when you want Santa, trees, or other distinctive imagery to remain visible.

Use smaller-scale designs and coordinates in detailed patchwork.

Teal and Icicle can create cool winter areas within the quilt, while Burgundy and Pine bring stronger traditional Christmas color.

Christmas Pillows, Table Runners and Home Décor

Cozy Wonderland was created for more than quilts.

The collection's panel and seasonal prints make it especially fun for smaller projects that become part of your Christmas decorating.

Make pillows for a sofa or guest room.

Create a table runner or topper for holiday gatherings.

Sew placemats for the Christmas table.

Turn favorite fabrics into stockings, bags, or handmade gifts.
