Point of View Folded Star Table Topper Pattern

This is the pattern to make the 17” Point of View Folded Star Table Topper by Deborah Miller for PlumEasy Patterns. Full-color photos of each step are included as well as one printed interfacing template. This project is so fun to make, you’ll want to make them again and again. More interfacing templates are available in 3-packs.

The center ‘point of view’ motif is thoughtfully selected (often a favorite fabric but could also be a special hand or machine embroidery piece,  cross stitch, or applique) and then framed with layers of prairie points to create a beautiful star design. Fabrics are added to the lightweight interfacing that is soft to the touch and remains with the fabric through use and laundering.

This is so beautiful. I had some difficulty getting started and had to have a friend help me. The video was more helpful than the written instructions, which I found confusing and not organized very well. But now that I know what to do, I am very excited about completing this project. Lot of Work; Great Project

Just finished making the Point of View folded star table topper. It was the first one I've made in this size. Using a centerpiece can be rather tricky but I enjoyed learning and following the process. It's a lot of work with cutting, pressing, placement, gluing and stitching. It's nice to have the thread set to add detail to the finished design. The prairie point tool is great with a hot iron and plenty of sizing spray to make the fabric behave. Watch out for puckering.
