This Creative Grids 2.5" x 12.5 rectangle ruler features easy-to-read black and white markings printed in 1" grids marked in 1/8" and 1/4" increments. Use the easy-to-read numbers and 1/4" grip side to cut whole inches and trim seam allowances.

The ruler slides easily over the fabric until pressure is applied. Then, their exclusive gripper holds the fabric in place while cutting, eliminating slipping and miscuts!

Creative Grids has become my go to for rulers. No need to buy another item to make them non-slip like most other rulers. They seem expensive but if you take care of them, they will last a long long time. I'm not sure when I bought my first CG ruler but the lines and numbers have NOT rubbed off which is important.
