Pineapple Pillow Or Placemat Pattern

This pattern, designed by Jean Ann Wright for Cut Loose Press, is all about fabric placement! It's reminiscent of the Snail’s Trail block but with a twist created with the Creative Grids Pineapple Trim Tool Mini. Alternating the colors on some of the rounds create the spiral effect and add that awe factor to the finished projects. Make 12 blocks for the pillow or 8 for the placemat.

Tip: Eliminate the math by cutting the strips using the line down the center of any of the Creative Grids 2-1/2" wide rectangles. This white line is at the 1-1/4" mark, the width of the strips needed to make the mini block.

Project Size: Pillow 12" x 16" or Placemat 10" x 16".
