Happy Birthday Table Runner Pattern

Celebrate a birthday with this colorful table runner! Patchwork can be made using a jelly roll, and each end features fusible applique. Pattern includes all instructions for the 16 1/2" x 64 1/2" runner (which can be shortened to fit your table).

Required Materials:

20 strips of 2½ inch by width of fabric strips
A variety of colorful scraps for appliqué
¼ yard or 1 fat quarter of white tonal fabric (for appliqué backgrounds)
½ yard multicolored stripe fabric for sashing and binding
18 inch by 72 inch piece for backing
Heat n Bond Lite or other fusible appliqué product
1 skein brown embroidery floss
