Linen Cross Stitch Fabric

When stitching on linen, you typically:

1. Count two fabric threads horizontally and vertically

2. Bring the needle up through the lower left corner

3. Stitch diagonally to the upper right

4. Complete the X just like on Aida — but over two threads instead of holes

Aida cloth has clearly defined square holes that make it beginner-friendly. Linen, on the other hand, has finer threads and a natural weave, requiring stitchers to count threads rather than follow visible holes.
