Spring Celebration Quilt Block Series

Exclusively available from Shabby Fabrics, the Spring Celebration Quilt Block Series features six delightful designs: Pansy, Daisy, Daffodil, Tulip, Marigold, and Butterfly. Each kit includes authentic Bali batik fabric, pre-fused laser-cut appliqué shapes, and a helpful layout diagram to guide your placement and sequencing.

For best results, we recommend using a light source such as the Wafer Light Pad. Simply place the layout diagram over your light pad, cover with the Appli-Fuse Silicone mat, and follow the numbered sequence to perfectly position each shape. For fine tuning positioning, the Gypsy Quilter Tweezers are invaluable! Once all the shapes are in position, fuse everything in place with a medium-temperature iron. Once cooled, the now merged applique shapes are one completed unit. Simply peel the applique shape off the Appli-Fuse mat and iron to your background fabric. 

After fusing, bring your project to life with your favorite stitching techniques. Explore our beautiful selection of 50 weight thread, and consider using a Super Nonstick Needles Size 80/12 for smooth, effortless stitching when stitching through fusible webbing. We recommend stitching close to the edge using a straight stitch, blanket stitch, zigzag, or a stitch of your choice to secure each shape to the background.
