Chateau Bleu Fabric by Wilmington Prints

Classic Florals and Toile in Chateau Bleu

Chateau Bleu brings together the prints you need to give a blue quilt both interest and balance. Let a floral or classic toile take the lead, then add the smaller leaves, tonals, and cream and cocoa texture prints to give pieced blocks contrast. The result can be as simple as a favorite patchwork pattern or as detailed as a quilt that alternates larger feature prints with quieter backgrounds.

Precuts and Backings for Your Quilt

Chateau Bleu is planned in Wilmington’s 5 Karat Crystals (5-inch squares), 10 Karat Crystals (10-inch squares), and 40 Karat Crystals (2½-inch strips). Shabby Fabrics will also cut a Fat Quarter Bundle. Pair your preferred precut with Charm Pack friendly patterns, Layer Cake friendly patterns, Jelly Roll friendly patterns, or Fat Quarter friendly patterns.

The collection also includes two 108-inch-wide backing fabrics. A coordinating wide back lets you carry the Chateau Bleu look through to the reverse of your quilt without piecing a standard-width backing.
