Tiny Tails Minky Baby Fabric by Blank Quilting

Sweet Safari Designs on Soft Minky Fabric

Tiny Tails Minky brings the charming artwork of the Tiny Tails collection to a plush fabric surface. Baby animals, playful train scenes, and coordinating hexagon designs offer delightful choices for gifts celebrating a new arrival.

Designed by Tango Twist Designs for Blank Quilting, this collection complements the Tiny Tails cotton prints while adding a different feel to your finished project. Use the minky as a featured fabric or pair it with a cotton quilt top for a soft backing.

60-inch-Wide, 100% Polyester Minky

All Tiny Tails Minky designs are 60 inches wide and made from 100% polyester. The wider fabric offers useful flexibility when planning baby quilt backs and throws, though the amount needed depends on your project’s dimensions and the direction of the print.

Minky handles differently from woven quilting cotton. Consider the fabric’s stretch and nap when arranging your pieces, and follow a pattern suited to minky construction. Check the individual product’s care instructions before washing or pressing.

A Snuggle Panel for a Special Handmade Gift

The Tiny Tails Minky Snuggle Panel showcases the collection’s adorable animal characters in a larger scene. Its illustrated layout provides a lovely starting point for a small throw or another project that preserves the artwork.

The panel is printed fabric, rather than a finished blanket. Review its dimensions and your chosen construction instructions to determine the backing, finishing materials, and yardage required.

Animal Hexagons & Playful Train Scenes

The Hexagon Frames print features sweet animal portraits, including lions, zebras, giraffes, monkeys, leopards, and tigers. The printed arrangement creates a patchwork-style appearance without requiring you to assemble individual hexagons.

The Train Scene offers another playful option, while Animal Skins Patchwork provides a coordinating geometric look. These designs are especially appealing in projects with larger fabric sections that allow the illustrations to remain visible.

Pair Tiny Tails Minky with a Cotton Quilt Top

A Tiny Tails cotton quilt top paired with coordinating Tiny Tails Minky creates a project that carries the animal theme from front to back. Choose a minky print that complements the colors and scale of your quilt top, then confirm that its width accommodates your quilt and the extra backing required by your quilting method.
