Gooseberry and Garland Fabric by The Quilted Cow for Andover Fabrics

A Sweet Christmas Collection with Geese, Florals & Bows

Gooseberry and Garland brings a gentle, feminine touch to Christmas quilting. Designed by The Quilted Cow for Andover Fabrics, the collection pairs expressive goose illustrations with floral details, festive wreaths, pretty bows, and coordinating prints that feel welcoming and full of charm.

The larger feature prints give your project a recognizable personality, while smaller designs provide variety for pieced blocks, borders, and finishing details. Explore more floral fabric and Christmas fabric for additional project inspiration.

Soft Pinks, Gentle Greens & Creamy Neutrals

This collection offers an appealing alternative to a bold red-and-green Christmas palette. Soft pinks, sage and pistachio greens, creamy vanilla shades, and warm toffee tones create a gentle foundation, with cranberry and candied-apple reds adding holiday color.

Color names such as Snow Berry, Frosted Sage, Vanilla Bean, Sugar Plum, and Cranberry Kiss reflect the collection’s sweet character. Combine lighter and darker prints to give your patchwork contrast while keeping the overall look soft and inviting.

A Christmas Panel with a Truck, Goose & Barn

The collection’s truck-and-barn panel offers a charming starting point for a Christmas project. Its goose imagery ties it to the surrounding prints, making the panel a natural feature for a wall hanging or the center of a quilt.

Use coordinating florals, plaids, and tonals to frame the scene without overwhelming it. Browse our quilt panel fabrics for more panel ideas, or explore wall hanging patterns for inspiration. Check the panel dimensions against your chosen pattern before cutting.

Plaids, Ditsy Prints & Tonals for Coordinating Patchwork

Sweet plaids, small-scale prints, letter-inspired tonals, sprigs, and bows help connect the collection’s larger motifs. These supporting designs are useful for alternating blocks, narrow borders, binding, and smaller pieces where a large illustration might be lost.

Pair a feature floral or goose print with quieter coordinates to create a balanced design. Explore our plaid and gingham fabric, ditsy prints, and tonal fabrics for more coordinating options.
