Santa on Vacation Christmas Fabric by Blank Quilting

Tropical Christmas Fabric with a Sense of Humor

Santa on Vacation brings beach-day fun to Christmas sewing. Santa trades his usual winter setting for palm trees, sunglasses, shorts, and colorful tropical surroundings. Flamingos, surfboards, gifts, and tropical snowmen make this collection especially delightful for makers who enjoy a playful holiday look.

Use these prints for beach house Christmas décor, a cheerful holiday quilt, or handmade gifts for someone who would happily spend December beside the ocean. Explore more novelty fabrics, ocean fabrics, and Christmas fabrics for additional inspiration.

A Santa Panel for Your Project’s Centerpiece

The Santa scene panel brings together the collection’s tropical Christmas personality, with palm tree details, festive lights, and flamingos dressed for the holidays. Give the illustration room to shine in a wall hanging or quilt, then frame it with coordinating prints.

The panel is printed fabric that requires sewing and finishing. Check its measurements against your pattern before planning borders and purchasing additional materials. Browse our quilt panel fabrics for more projects built around illustrated scenes.

Printed 10-inch Blocks for Creative Layouts

The 1392BH-11 block print features 10-by-10-inch printed blocks with the collection’s playful beach and holiday imagery. Use individual motifs as focal points, alternate them with pieced blocks, or arrange them into a seasonal wall hanging.

These are printed designs on fabric, rather than separately pieced quilt blocks or a package of precut squares. Before separating the motifs, check the printed spacing and the seam allowance required by your chosen project.

Border Stripes, Florals & Coordinating Tonals

The coordinating border stripe offers a decorative frame for a panel or quilt and can also become a feature in a table runner. Plan your cuts around the direction and repeat of the artwork so the design works with your layout.

Florals, gifts, diagonal stripes, and tonal prints provide supporting choices for patchwork, borders, and binding. Pair the busier illustrations with quieter coordinates to keep your project balanced.

Plan a Sunny Christmas Quilt, Table Runner or Tote

Bring this collection to your holiday table, display a tropical Santa wall hanging, or sew a festive tote for seasonal outings. Larger fabric pieces can preserve the novelty illustrations, while smaller coordinating prints work well in pieced accents.
