A Cardinal's Christmas Fabric by Hoffman Fabrics

Beautiful Cardinal Fabric for Christmas Sewing

A Cardinal's Christmas fabric celebrates the beauty of winter birds surrounded by festive foliage. Cardinals provide the collection’s focal point, while holly berries, pine cones, greenery, and floral details offer coordinating designs for holiday patchwork and decorating.

Use the bird prints where their illustrations can shine, then combine them with smaller botanical coordinates to build a balanced project. A larger fabric piece can showcase the cardinals, while smaller cuts bring the collection’s colors and supporting details into pieced blocks.

Gold and Silver Metallic Accents

Metallic accents give A Cardinal’s Christmas an elegant finishing touch. Choose Scarlet/Gold or Hunter/Gold for traditional holiday warmth, Natural/Gold for a lighter combination, or Black/Gold for a dramatic background.

Ice/Silver, Gray/Silver, and Red/Silver provide beautiful alternatives for projects with cooler metallic accents. Not every print is available in every colorway, so begin with your favorite cardinal design and select its supporting fabrics from there.

Plan a Christmas Quilt, Table Runner, or Wall Hanging

Once you have chosen your favorite fabrics, explore Christmas quilt and sewing patterns to decide what to make. Consider both the size of the bird illustrations and your pattern’s cutting requirements when selecting a design.

Browse quilt patterns for a seasonal throw or bed quilt. Choose table runner patterns to bring cardinals and metallic details to your holiday table, or explore wall hanging patterns for a decorative focal point.

Coordinating placemat patterns and mats and table topper patterns offer smaller projects for seasonal decorating and handmade gifts.
