Make a Cozy Flannel Rag Quilt

A rag quilt is a wonderful way to showcase Tawny & Teal plaids. The exposed seam allowances are clipped and washed according to the pattern instructions, creating the soft fringe that gives rag quilts their distinctive finish.

Choose our Four-Patch Flannel Rag Quilt Pattern for a layout that brings several fabrics together in repeated blocks. Explore the Half-Square Triangle Flannel Rag Quilt Pattern for another arrangement, or start with the Easy as ABC and 123 Rag Quilt Pattern.

Review your chosen pattern’s fabric quantities, batting requirements, cutting dimensions, and seam allowances before beginning. Lay out your fabrics before sewing to check the balance of color and contrast.
